Betty Porr Miller
Ms. Betty Porr Miller, age 94, of Locust Grove, Ga., passed away November 30, 2018. Mrs. Miller was born in Easton, Ohio., the daughter of the late Anna Mary Bechtol Porr and Albert Daniel Porr. Mrs. Miller graduated from Doylestown High School and was married in 1942. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Miller attended the Locust Grove United Methodist Church until her declining health. She and her late husband enjoyed playing tennis, camping, fishing, traveling, and playing cards. Mrs. Miller was known for her cooking and needle work. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Dwight Greer Miller; sister, Doris (Whitehead) Neiswander, Norma Vinez Corney, and Alice Haller; brothers, Dale, Philip, George, William, Gerald, Albert Jr., Robert, Duane, Hubert and Norman Porr.
Survivors are her children, Joan and John Pope of Locust Grove, Randall and Catherine Miller of Buckhannon, W.Va., Theodore Miller of Nashville, Tenn., and Charles and Sue Miller of Barberton, Ohio.; she was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Franklin D. Fenters
Franklin D. Fenters, age 76, of McDonough, Ga., went to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 1, 2018. Frank was born in Albemarle, N.C., to the late Henry E. and Margaret Boger Fenters. He lived in Georgia for 43 years with 24 of those years in McDonough, Ga. Frank was a deacon and member of Glen Haven Baptist Church where he worshiped the Lord with all his Godly brothers and sisters. In addition to his parents, Frank was proceeded in death by his brother, Henry E. Fenters.
Mr. Fenters is survived by his wife of 55 1/2 years, Phoebe Fenters, of McDonough, Ga.; daughters, Tona Fenters, also of McDonough, Ga., and Sherri (Bobby) Potts, of Unionville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Travis Potts, of Knoxville, Tenn., Karen Potts, of Unionville, Tenn., Avery Christy, of Douglasville, Ga.; one great-grandchild; and sister, Toni Underwood, of Statesville, N.C.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Glen Haven Baptist Church with Pastor Stan Berrong and Pastor Emeritus Ralph Easterwood officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge, Ga. The family received friends on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at the Cannon Cleveland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Glen Haven Baptist Church Building Fund, 345 East Lake Road, McDonough, GA 30252.
