Stockbridge Councilwoman Neat Robinson has been appointed to the Board of Directors for Arts Clayton. The organization has an extensive record of serving Clayton County and the South Metro Area for 30 years. As part of its Strategic Plan, the members of the Board of Directors for Arts Clayton use the mission to more effectively focus on strong public-private partnerships that engage families and children through arts programming, as well as continuing to grow the organization’s leadership role in the community, region and state. Since inception, Arts Clayton has focused on three areas of service which remain the goals of the overall mission today. The areas of service include supporting arts education for students in schools at all levels, providing venues and exhibit opportunities for Georgia artists and promoting the arts in community development as a means of strengthening the economic vitality and improving the quality of life for families.
