Henry Arts Alliance (HAA) will celebrate the beginning of the Holiday Season with Holidays with the Arts on Sunday, November 11 at 3 p.m. at the Henry County Performing Arts Center. Local dancers, singers, actors, writers, and visual artists will display their love for the holidays by performing and exhibiting with energy and enthusiasm.
The dancers represent local dance companies. The actors are from two local theater groups – the Henry Players and The Front Porch Players, both of which have upcoming Christmas shows. The singing will come from Individual members of HAA and from The Henry Singers. Finally, but not least, attendees will be able to view an exhibit by members of the Henry Visual Artists Collective.
Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at the door. In honor of Veterans Day, all veterans and their family members are invited at no charge. Come early to see the art. The Henry County Performing Arts Center is located at 37 Lemon Street in McDonough. The Henry Arts Alliance was established in 1991 by Dr. Edward Bridges as a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to sponsor and encourage cultural and educational activities in Henry County.
