Thanks to John Teague for sending this photograph to us. John wrote, “this photo shows Luther Harper with his mother Coley and father Reuben. Reuben was postmaster of The Sandy Ridge District for many years and lived in a house on the corner of Jackson Lake and Keys Ferry Roads across from Sardis Baptist Church.  Reuben is buried with his wives and children in a cemetery located across from the property.” Helen Watson Russell wrote, “this is Squire Reuben Harper, his second wife Caly Fincher Green, and their son Luther Rice Harper. Squire Harper is my great-great grandfather by his first wife Martha Ann Carter.
