The Stockbridge First United Methodist Church group of United Methodist Women attended the Taking Our Stand Against Human Trafficking workshop on August 17 hosted and sponsored by Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in McDonough and the Griffin District United Methodist Women.
Participants heard from Maja Hasic, Human Trafficking Program Director. Sabrina Crawford, GiGi House founder also spoke to the workshop participants. The church’s Music and Dance ministry performed at the event. Those who attended brought gift cards for GiGi’s House, which serves victims of human trafficking.
