A group of Prime Time Adventurers recently traveled to Normandy and the D-Day Beaches during the celebration of the 75th anniversary. They are shown above at the  American Cemetery at Omaha Beach on Memorial Day 2019. “This in-depth, 6-day trip was very moving and inspiring and certainly made everyone proud to be an American. This experience brought to life all that we had studied and read about the invasion.

We were able to visit most of the beaches where the battles took place, as well as several museums attributed to the allied forces, and cities that were liberated shortly after June 6, 1944. After traveling under the English Channel on the Eurostar train, our visit to London concluded our WW II journey. There we visited the Imperial War Museum and Churchill’s Cabinet War Rooms – the underground Headquarters used by Churchill and the British Government and Allies during WWII, while planning Operation Overlord,” said tour escort, Nancy Hall.
