The Heritage Community Foundation recently presented a $5,000 check to David and Linda Clark, Trustees of Our World School, at the school’s new facility in McDonough. The grant award will fund the purchase of equipment for the new school building that serves families with children with special needs in our area.

  “We are pleased and proud to continue our partnership with the Our World School and Our World at HOPE Park organization,” said Mark Dose, Executive Director of the Heritage Community Foundation. “They are dedicated to providing meaningful educational and life-skill resources for those in our community that have special needs. Their leaders have an amazing passion for serving those in need in our area.”

  The non-profit Our World School has just occupied a newly renovated building that is designed to promote a healthy learning environment for special needs students. The grant funds provided will support technology, science and life-skills equipment for the students.
