A Stockbridge man will serve five consecutive life sentences after being convicted today of raping and sodomizing three children.
A Henry County jury found David Anthony Jackson, 49, guilty today of two counts of rape, three counts of aggravated child molestation, three counts of child molestation and one count of incest.
Superior Court Judge John A. “Trea” Pipkin III sentenced Jackson to five consecutive life sentences following the jury’s verdict.
The jury found Jackson raped, molested and sodomized the three children, who were between the ages of 4 and 9, at homes in Locus Grove and Stockbridge. The sexual abuse occurred from 2007 to 2016.
All three victims testified about their abuse.
“This man preyed upon three children, sexually abusing them and threatening them not to tell,” Henry County District Attorney Darius Pattillo said. “All three children bravely reported the abuse and testified this week, telling jurors they wanted to be super heroes and protect other children from getting hurt. The children and their families are grateful to have justice.”
This case was prosecuted by the District Attorney’s Crimes Against Children/Domestic Violence Unit.
