Thanks to Mike Moon for sending this picture to us. Mike said, “the house is one of the oldest structures left in McDonough. It was built in 1826 by Revolutionary War Veteran Andrew McBride. It was later acquired by Asa Brown. Then, it would become a hotel in McDonough in the 1880’s and then would later be owned by Hattie Goodhue and her husband. And, of course, the Clayton-Henry County Genealogical and Historical Society is housed there today.” Joe Turner also wrote in and correctly identified the photo.
