Even though school is out for the summer, Henry County Schools will be helping young people stay fed in the coming weeks.
In conjunction with the U.S Department of Agriculture and the Georgia School Nutrition Program, the district is serving breakfast and lunch at various locations in June and July. All sites will be closed on Fridays and in observance of district-wide holidays on June 19 and July 3-7.
Meals are free for students 18 years of age and under, as well as for students served in special education who are 21 years of age and under.
Participating individuals must enter schools through the main office and sign in before enjoying meals onsite in the cafeteria during the meal service times.

When I was young, it was my mother and FATHERS responsibility to see that I was fed during both the school months and the summer months. Not The Taxpayers. Guarantee, every one of those kids will walk in for their “free” meal carrying an I-Phone. Don’t breed em if you can’t feed em!
