Henry County Retired Educators Association (HCREA) is offering a High School Graduate Scholarship of $500 to encourage and assist a deserving student who is entering college with plans to prepare for a career in teaching. The applicant must present himself or herself as a deserving nominee and be a graduating senior from an accredited high school in Henry County.

The winner of the HCREA Scholarship will be notified early in May. He or she may be invited to attend a Henry County Board of Education meeting or an HCREA meeting for a formal presentation.

A check in the amount of $500 will be issued to the winner upon proof of registration in college.

A completed application form and secure requested documentation must be submitted to the Scholarship Committee by no later than May 1. The decision of the Scholarship Committee shall be final.
