Dear Editor,

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Paul Paulicelli. I am retired and live in McDonough with my wife of 56 years. I am also a proud member of The Shrine of North America.

Many of you know me only as one of the few Shriners wearing his red fez and collecting donations in the shopping area near the Home Depot parking lot in McDonough.

Because of the generosity of those who continue to drop money in my bucket, as well as the other Shriners who collect, I can once again tell you that I, along with my fellow Shriners, have been able to turn in thousands of dollars to our Shriners Hospital Fund.

On behalf of all of us who collect donations, I would like to say thank you. Your donations allow us to continue helping kids.

Our network of 22 Shriners Hospitals provides specialized care for children under the age of 18 with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palates. “All care at Shriners Hospitals for Children is provided without regard to a patient or family’s ability to pay.”
