During the first meeting of the New Year, Commissioners made several reappointments including the appointment of both the Vice Chair and the County Clerk.

  Commissioners approved the appointment of District I Commissioner Johnny Wilson as the Vice-Chair of the Board of Commissioners. They also approved the reappointment of Stephanie Braun as the County Clerk and Consuelo Connor as the Deputy County Clerk.

  Board members also approved the appointments of Willie Brown (At-Large), Michael Barr (District I), Jim Risher (District III), James Carmichael (District IV) and Delander Nelson (District V) as members of the Zoning Advisory Board for a term to expire on December 31, 2020; Warren Holder (District I), Jimmy Carter (District III), Zuwena Poole (District IV) and Carlotta Harrell (District V) as members of the Water Authority Board for a term to expire on December 31, 2020; Reggie Sylvain (District IV) and Pierre O. Clements (District V) as members of the Development Authority and Jonathan F. Buck (District V) as a member of the Recreation Board with term to expire on December 31, 2022.

  Commissioners approved the appointments of Rita Bailey (District V) as a member of the Library Board for a term to expire on December 31, 2022; Lorraine Lindsey (District I), Ramona Hailey (District IV), Dr. Paulette Bragg, Joni McRae and Mildred Schmelz (District V) as members of the Council on Aging Board for a term to expire on December 31, 2022; Shirley Holloway (District III), Thomas White (District IV) and John Pearson (District V) as members of the Henry First Board for a term to expire December 31, 2022 and Stephanie Bradly (District IV) as a member of the Connecting Henry Board for a term to expire on December 31, 2022.   For a complete list of all Boards and Authorities, please visit www.co.henry.ga.us/Departments/A-C/County-Clerk.
