The Shannon Sells Team of Watkins Real Estate Associates recently announced a new scholarship opportunity from now through May 28.

To help offset the increasing costs associated with beginning a college career, the real estate agency is awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a member of the Class of 2021. There is a short application and essay to be submitted at www.shannonsellsteam.com/about/schloarship/.

This scholarship only requires a 500 word essay on the topic “If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be and why?”

The winner will be announced June 4.
