Mosquitoes are a constant nuisance during the summer months. They bite, causing an itching welt, and can also spread diseases. UGA Extension Henry County will have its monthly Lunch and Learn program on mosquito control for homeowners. The presenter will be Elmer Gray, a Public Health Entomologist from the University of Georgia.

The class will cover the biology of mosquitoes, diseases they could spread, and ways to mitigate their presence in the home landscape.

The program will be held on Tuesday, June 13 from noon until 1 p.m. at the UGA Extension Henry County Office located at 97 Lake Dow Road, McDonough, GA 30252.
