I am a black female born in Henry County in 1955. My father was a share cropper with nine mouth’s to feed. It was nothing memorable about the county. In fact if u gave me a free land and a house l would turn it down. That picture u displayed meant step out of the way when white people came into the store and wait your turn even if u was there first.
If we live the past there is no present or future
I can sure see that on his face.
