Police are looking for a light-colored or white SUV that struck Jasmine Gibson of Hampton as she was walking on Monday evening.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise funds for Jasmine’s medical expenses. The GoFundMe states:

“Can everyone please send all of your love to sweet Jasmine right now! She was hit by a driver while walking in Hampton last night. A witness said the driver of a white SUV hit Jasmine, stopped for a moment, and then “ran her over again like she was a speed bump.”

Jasmine Gibson.

“Absolutely horrifying. She’s in surgery right now and her injuries are extensive. She has fractures in her face, a broken pelvis, a broken left arm, both knees cracked, and internal bleeding. It happened last night at 9:30 on Highway 20 and Lower Woolsey road. Anyone who has any information about this heartless driver is asked to call police immediately. Please think of Jasmine today as she is in surgery and hope this hit and run driver will be caught ASAP. We are asking for donations as there will be a long road of recovery for her.”
