The Central Georgia EMC Foundation recently awarded Hands of Hope Clinic a $3,000 grant to cover the cost of clinic visits and medical supplies for the uninsured patients treated there. “Hands of Hope is grateful for the partnership of the CGEMC Foundation,” said Executive Director Amanda Reeves. “The clinic would be unable to continue accomplishing its mission without your generosity.” The mission of the Hands of Hope Clinic is to provide a medical home to more of Henry County’s uninsured residents, improve their health status, and thus reduce unnecessary emergency room and hospital visits. The average Operation Round Up participant’s donation is fifty cents per month, but that “change” adds up to make a big difference in local communities.
