After two years of changes because of Covid, a cancellation in 2020 and schedule change in 2021, the 44th annual Geranium Festival is back to its regular date, the third Saturday in May.
The event is an arts and crafts festival and has something for everyone with over 300 vendors and more than 400 booth spaces.
The Geranium Festival is sponsored by the McDonough Lions Club which has served Henry County since 1954. Through the funds raised from the Geranium Festival, the McDonough Lions Club supports many causes throughout our community and beyond. Throughout the year, the Club provides free eye screenings in our community. Eye glasses and eye exams are provided at no charge to Henry County residents who cannot afford them.
The festival will be held this Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on the McDonough Square.
Look for your favorite vendors and some new additions to the lineup.
