Patricia Ann Warren Bryant
Patricia Ann Warren Bryant, commonly known as Pat, age 82, formerly of McDonough, Ga., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 10, 2022. She was born in West Elizabeth, Pa., to the late John James Warren and Jessie Edna Kline Warren on September 19, 1939. In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her husband of 36 years, Raleigh Bryant; and a sister, Shirley Gunn Lightcap. Pat leaves behind a wonderful legacy that some could only dream of. She loved her Jesus, first and foremost, and led by example how to love your family unconditionally. Family was everything to Pat and Bryant. She retired from Bennett Motor Express after serving the company in roles in both bookkeeping and human resources.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Christine (Kenny) Harris of Florence, AL; her grandchildren, Matthew (Jordan) Harris of Killen, Ala., and Jonathan (Monica) Harris of White Oak, Tex.; great-grandchildren, Bryleigh, Grady, and Bryant; sister, Kathryn Nagy of High Point, N.C.; several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
A service to celebrate Pat’s life was held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Oakland Baptist Church in McDonough. Interment followed at Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough. For those who wish, a memorial contribution may be made in Pat’s memory to Oakland Baptist Church, via mail at 1005 Hwy 81, McDonough, GA 30253. Richard L. Foster
Richard L. Foster, age 87, of McDonough, Ga., passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. He was born September 12, 1934 in Stockbridge, Ga., to the late Howard and Bettie Foster. Mr. Foster was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. Richard attended McDonough First United Methodist Church. He was an insurance salesman for most of his life. Richard retired as a sales representative from Pitney Bowes and he was a member of the Million Dollar Club. Richard is preceded in death by his first wife, Maxine, his seven siblings and two sons, Dwayne and Alan.
Mr. Foster is survived by his wife, Shirley Foster and a daughter, Cheryl (Dan) Camp of McDonough. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Brian Camp, Christina (Jeff) Holley and Jonathan (Stacey) Camp, nine great-grandchildren and a sister, Sue Foster of Lake City, Ga.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, GA. Burial followed at at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Forest Park, Ga.
