Locust Grove Day
The City of Locust Grove will host Locust Grove Day on Saturday, April 23 beginning with a parade at 10 a.m. A Craft, Food and Entertainment Festival will be going on from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. It will feature Wildwood Grass, MJ’s Soul Line Dancers, Amy’s School of Dance, and the Clovers. From 7 until 10 p.m., enjoy a street dance featuring the Mackie Creek Band. A fireworks show by Atlanta Pyrotechnics International will begin at 9 p.m. Claude Gray Park is located at 99 Frances Ward Drive in Locust Grove.

Spring Community Fishing Day
Join the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and Atlanta Tight Lines Bass Club on Saturday, April 23 at 8:30 a.m. for the Spring Community Fishing Day at Nash Farm Lake. Fish, socialize, and enjoy the Henry County countryside as participants spend a day of fun in the sun. Bring your own bait. Nash Farm Park is located at 4361 Jonesboro Road in Hampton.
