The Genealogical Society of Henry and Clayton Counties will hold Promenade Through History: Henry County Bicentennial Celebration on Saturday, August 28 at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. The program will be held at the Cannon Cleveland Contemporary Chapel, located at 2580 GA-42 in McDonough.

This event will showcase characters in period costume, recalling Henry County history through the people who experienced it.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $6 for students and can be purchased at the following locations:
