Dr. Anne McCallum, retired Clayton County English teacher, will speak at the McDonough Garden Club meeting on Monday, August 9 at 7 p.m.
A Georgia Audubon Master Birder, she fields monthly bird walks at Reynolds Nature Preserve. She volunteers twice a month at Panola Mountain Bird Banding Station. She is the author of What Birds Do and Say, a book of basic information of twenty iconic species. She has lived in the same Clayton County home for 37 years and has developed a back yard habitat.
She will speak on “Making Your Yard Bird-friendly” at the Georgia Farm Bureau on Racetrack Road in McDonough. Visitors are welcome.
