The Disciples Community Outreach Program in collaboration with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office will host a Food Giveaway for those in need on Saturday, October 17. It will begin at 11 a.m. and last until all the food has been given out. The event will be held at Richard Craig Park, 125 Zack Hinton Parkway in McDonough.

  They will be distributing fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, frozen chicken, rice and beans.

  This will be a drive-thru event open to the public.
