William M. Chamlee, Jr.
William M. “Bill” Chamlee, Jr., age 76, of Ellenwood, Ga., went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, June 4, 2020. Bill was born on May 27, 1944. He was raised and lived most of his life in Henry County, Ga. He sold Combined Insurance for many years. But most knew him as your family barber, owner of Country Roads Barber and Style on East Atlanta Road in Stockbridge. Part of his life he served as a Shriner, He was a member of the Stockbridge Masonic Lodge #691. Bill was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend and brother. Bill was a Christian and attended services regularly. Bill’s life will forever be remembered and cherished by his family, countless friends and neighbors. Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Marlin Chamlee and father, William Melvin Chamlee, Sr. of Ellenwood, his sons William Todd Chamlee and Brian Keith Chamlee and his daughter, Rebecca Chamlee Yearta.
He is survived by his daughter Christina Chamlee of Morristown, Tenn., his grandchildren Kayla, Dakota, Ernie, Jonathan, Austin, Amanda, Jacob, Nevaeh, Geovanni, and three great-grandchildren. Eli Teston, Raiden and Jorden Grant, his siblings Hoyt Chamlee (Cheryl), Travis Chamlee, Darlene Moseley (Ralph). Pam Pollard (Phillip), and Brenda Chamlee.
Please join his family for a graveside service to be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Ellenwood, GA.
