The Henry County Library System is reaching out in several ways to meet the literary needs of local residents.

All Henry County public libraries are currently offering curbside service. Items can be picked up each Monday and Thursday from noon until 8 p.m., and each Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m., until 6 p.m., said Joy Caldwell, marketing manager for the library system.

“Anyone with a library card can place books on hold from the PINES website or call the library at 678-432-5353 to reserve a book or DVD for curbside pick-up,” said Caldwell.

She said residents who don’t have a library card can get one as part of curbside service.

Additional library resources are available online with the use a library card. To access e-books, audiobooks, comics, magazines and movies, visit

Hoopla or rbDigital at henrylibraries.org, or  the Hoopla and rbDigital apps, said Caldwell.

The library system has also launched a Youtube channel for storytimes at home. For more information, visit Youtube.com and search for Henrylibraries.
