District V Commissioner Bruce Holmes will hold a Town Hall Meeting on Saturday, August 1 at 10 a.m. at New Hope Christian Ministries in Stockbridge. The meeting will take place on the football field behind the church.

  The theme of the town hall is “Catapulting Out of the Crisis” and the discussion will focus on Henry County Schools and plans for the upcoming school year amid the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. Guest speakers include Henry County School Superintendent Dr. Mary Elizabeth Davis and Pastor Richard Leaphart with New Hope Christian Ministries.

  Social distancing will be observed and attendees are encouraged to bring chairs for the outside event.

  The Town Hall Meeting is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend. New Hope Christian Ministries is located at 1738 Fairview Rd., Stockbridge, GA 30281.
