The Times has received the flowing statement from the McDonough Lions Club regarding the Annual Geranium Festival:
After careful consideration of our current health situation, the McDonough Lions Club and City of McDonough officials decided on June 30 to cancel the Geranium Festival that was re-scheduled to Saturday September 19, 2020. This decision was made in the best interest of the health, safety, and well-being of our vendors, volunteers, visitors, and citizens of Henry County.
We would like to thank everyone who helps make the Geranium Festival a huge success each year!
