  Timothy Wade Hester, age 54 of Stockbridge, Ga., passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.

  Mrs. Mary Laura Walker peacefully passed away on June 15, 2020.

JoAnn King Mosley

  JoAnn King Mosley, peacefully passed away at home on June 20, 2020. She was surrounded by her family. She was born March 7, 1937 in Vidalia, Ga., to Frank and Flora Bell King. JoAnn went by many names: mama, mother, Aunt Jo and Grandmommie. She worked for years as a phone operator before she became a homemaker and caretaker. She cared for not only her own children but other people’s children, her grandchildren and her great-granddaughter as well. She had a strong faith in God. She was a long-standing member of both Decatur Heights Baptist Church and Hampton First Baptist Church. While at Decatur Heights she served in the church nursery and believed that every baby should be rocked. She loved life and enjoyed being involved with her church and the precious ladies in her church group. She loved watching Andy Griffith, cooking, birds, the “Goat Man” and anything related to her children and grandchildren. She was a very caring and selfless woman and she will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her spouse, L.W. Mosley, two sisters: Betty Jean Odum and Madine Haelig, and her parents.     

  She is survived by her siblings Larson (Johnnie Mae) King, Loretta Palmer, William (Jeanine) King, Hershel (Emma Jean) King; daughters, Angela (Brad) Duncan, Tammy Mosley, Vicky (Frank) Diaz; grandchildren Jeremy (Corrie) Duncan, Amanda Duncan, Bianca Diaz; great-granddaughter Taegan Duncan; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and life-long friends also survive.   

  A celebration of life will be held Friday June 26, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Hampton First Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors from 10 until 10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be sent to Hampton First Baptist Church, www. hamptonfbc.org or Southern Grace Hospice, www.southerngracehospice.com
