Summer reading is going virtual at Henry County Libraries this summer.

The 2020 Summer Reading Program is going on now through Saturday, August 1. Sign-up for the Summer Reading Program online at henrylibraries.beanstack.org or on the Beanstack app.

When the account has been created, you will be able to add your family’s readers. Once sign-up is complete, users will be able to track their reading and participate in challenges to discover books, join events, and earn prizes.

Two challenges will be offered, one for children and one for teens and young adults.

Children’s Challenge

  •   Read 20 hours
  •   Receive a digital badge for registering
  •   Receive a digital badge for every two hours of reading
  •   The child may redeem their digital badge for a brag tag at the library

Teens and Young Adults

  •   Read 20 hours
  •   Receive a digital badge for registering
  •   Receive a digital badge for every two hours read, and for completing activities
  •   Each badge is one entry into an end of summer drawing for an Apple Airpod.

Traditional reading logs can be picked up at a Henry County Library branch.
