Mr. Geddes Franklin Floyd, age 101 of Stockbridge, Ga., peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 4, 2020.

Kyle Joseph Kurey
Kyle Joseph Kurey, age 19, passed from this life and into the arms of Jesus peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. Kyle was born August 31, 2000, and from the moment he entered this world, he brought his joy and a mischievous grin to all who knew him. Kyle, the second of three sons, was born to Dr. Kevin Michael Kurey and Kacey Ann Kurey of McDonough, Georgia. He was a gifted athlete who excelled on the soccer field and as a kicker for his high school football team, the Community Christian School Knights. Kyle grew up on the soccer fields of the south, playing for Henry County Thunder, Atlanta Football Club (AFC), Concorde Fire Soccer Club, and MOBA for over twelve years. He most recently completed his first year playing for Georgia State University soccer intramurals and Sunday Adult Soccer League. Kyle was confirmed in the Lutheran Church at age fourteen at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Fayetteville. He recently completed his freshman year of college at Georgia State University where he was majoring in finance. Kyle was passionate about sneakers, fashion, video games, music, spending time with friends, creating, dancing, performing, and being the star of the show. Most importantly, he made people laugh and feel special.
Kyle is survived by his parents Kevin and Kacey and his brothers Karson and Kolin; his paternal grandparents Joseph and Carol Kurey of Griffin, Georgia; his maternal grandparents Robert and Delores Guio of Follansbee, West Virginia; uncles Raymond (LeAnn) Kurey, Mark Guio, David Guio, and Kristian Guio; Aunt Karen (Jeremy) Rocco; and loving cousins.
Due to COVID-19, the memorial service was an invitation-only, private family event on Saturday, May 9, at 4 p.m.; however, the service was held by livestream through Cannon Cleveland.
