The Times took a recent trip with the Durden family of Stockbridge who spent two weeks for Christmas in Belgium visiting family who are currently stationed there with the U.S. Army. “While in Belgium we visited Mons, Ath, Brussels, Ghent, Waterloo, Fort Breendonk, and Bastogne, as well as a day trip into Aachen, Germany for the local Christmas market.
Terry, Beth and Christian Durden, as well as Henrietta Kite, Beth’s mother, are shown above at the Bastogne War Museum. We are standing in front of the memorial where we happened to visit on the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge! We enjoyed a wonderful trip to a beautiful country, learned a lot, and made memories with family,” said Beth.
