Mark Parker called in to identify this photo of a Fourth of July parade shown at the old post office on Lawrenceville Street in McDonough around 1956-57. James Chick wrote, “the gentleman on the parade float is my dad, Robert L. (Bob) Chick when he was commander of the American Legion Post in 1956. The Polk museum is in the picture on the right.”
