Doug Riffey of McDonough and his son, Grey, recently visited Vietnam.

Doug was an Air Force pilot in Thailand and Vietnam from 1968-1969. While there, they visited the Khe Sanh battlefield, toured the Mekong River and saw the Peace Bridge on the the 17th Parallel, which was the separation point between North and South Vietnam in 1954 when the French left. The two are shown in front of a statue of Ho Chi Minh.
