Jane Lewis Cash
Mrs. Jane Lewis Cash, age 91, of McDonough, Ga., passed away on January 5, 2020. She was born on August 5, 1928 in Atlanta to the late John and Kate Lewis. Jane enjoyed reading, bird watching, and loved spending time with her family and many friends at the Village at Spring Creek. She attended North Georgia College and was a media center para pro at Babb Jr. High in Clayton County for 27 years. Mrs. Cash was a member of Glen Haven Baptist Church in McDonough. Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William Fred Cash.
She is survived by her children Elyse (Vince) Persano of Acworth, Nancy (Kent) Banks of McDonough, Buster Cash of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Mike Cash of McDonough and Penny Gilliam (Jeff) of Kennedale, Tex. She also had thirteen grandchildren, Kelly (Howie) McCormack, Greg (Shelia) Banks, Christopher Cash, Myah (Zac) Patterson, Allison (Jamaal) Reed, Jennifer (Brian) Pickens, Brittany (Jeremiah) Ware, Daniel (Charley) Cash, Garrett Gilliam, Tyler Gilliam, Drew Cash, B.J. Cash, Michael Cash; seventeen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and two grand dogs, Buck and Big Red.
Funeral services were held on on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough with Rev. Curtis Turner, along with grandsons Greg Banks and Daniel Cash officiating.
