Henry County Parks and Recreation (H.C.P.R.) Special Olympics ‘Share the Joy’ provides year-round training for 300 athletes. Share the Joy is their largest fundraiser and provides avenues to develop physical fitness through learning skills and a variety of sports, which include athletics, softball, tennis, bocce, basketball, volleyball, kayaking, bowling and skiing. Donations help provide uniforms and equipment and cover the registration for competitions at the regional and state level. The athletes are never asked for money to participate in the program.
