McDonough resident Austin Clark and Locust Grove resident Clayton Carte (left) served on the International Service Team during the 24th World Scout Jamboree.

The world Scout jamboree was held in Mount Hope, West Virginia from July 22 to August 2. More than 40,000 Scouts and Scouters from over 150 countries attended the event. The World Scout Jamboree is held every four years and was last held in the United States in 1967.
