Mark Parker called in to identify this photograph from downtown McDonough that he guesses is from the early 1890’s. The building on the end beside C.W. Walker burned down in the 1950’s and now serves as a parking lot. Also, note the mule-drawn cart and double plows on the street.
Looks like the old bridge on King’s Mill Rd over Tussahaw creek. I’d love to have a copy if it is. My family used to own the land to the left in the picture.
that looks like eliot rd runs between 155 to east lake i used to swim in that creek there was a rope swing to the left
