Stockbridge Councilwoman Neat Robinson is seeking applicants for her Teen Ambassador Program for 2019-2020. Interested applicants should be rising 10th through 12th graders who reside in the City of Stockbridge or Unincorporated Stockbridge. The Teen Ambassador Program seeks youth who are interested in being future leaders in government. The inaugural program will provide an opportunity for area teens to build leadership skills while participating in planned activities throughout the program year.
“My Teen Ambassador Program will highlight the amazing opportunities for our area teens to grow as leaders,” said Councilwoman Robinson. “We will explore the dynamics of municipal governments which will encourage awareness and involvement of our community teens. This initiative is all about supporting and guiding our teenagers in a busy world. We need future government leaders who can maintain progress in the years ahead.”
The deadline for all entries is Wednesday, May 22 at 5 pm.
• Applicant must reside in the City of Stockbridge or Unincorporated Stockbridge
• Applicant must attend a school (or home school) and be in the 10th, 11th or 12th grade for 2019-2020
• Applicant must commit to attend all scheduled monthly meetings and activities, July 2019 – February 2020
• Applicant must obtain transportation to and from meetings and events
• Applicant must have a minimum 2.0 GPA
