On April 20 the Henry County 4-H shotgun team competed in a district competition. Seventeen Henry County 4-H’ers competed in the daylong event. 12 students qualified to go on to the State competition at Rock Eagle on May 11.

In addition Ethan Ledford (right) posted a perfect score in the competition and came in second place in the senior division (9th thru 12th grades). Ethan is joined by the team’s coach, Frank Hancock, Agriculture and Natural Resource Agent for the UGA Extension Office in McDonough.
