Wayne (above) and Gail Bruce took a trip to Shipshewana, Indiana recently. “Shipshewana is in the heart of an Amish and Mennonite community. It is a wonderful place to visit, and makes you feel like you’re going back in time. Horse-drawn buggies and farm equipment abound there. While there, we toured the Shipshewana Flea Market which is billed as being one of the largest in the country. We also took in the Menno-Hof Museum, which details the history of the Amish, Mennonite, and Hutterites. We also visited an Amish dairy farm, and I helped milk the cows. Shipshewana is a wonderful place. If you have the opportunity to visit, I know you’ll be delighted,” said Wayne.
