For the next two weekends, the Henry Players will bring a different kind of holiday cheer to the stage in McDonough.

The local community-theater group will present “A Tuna Christmas” November 30 to December 2, and December 7-9, at the Hood Street Art Center, 136 Hood St. Show dates and times are: Nov. 30 at 7:30 p.m.; November 1-2 at 2:30 p.m.; November 7-8 at 7:30 p.m.; and November 9 at 2:30 p.m.

The play, starring James Brooks and Laramy Wells, centers on Christmastime in a small Texas town. A pair of radio-station personalities report on yuletide activities in the area, with an entertaining backdrop of small-town characters along the way.

Tickets are $15 each, and the play is rated PG-13.
