The Pumpkin Patch at Stockbridge First United Methodist Church (SFUMC) is selling pumpkins to support the church’s Backpack Buddies Ministry. The Patch is open until 8 p.m. each day through Halloween, with sales beginning at 11 a.m. Monday through Friday; a 9 a.m. on Saturdays and at noon on Sundays.
Proceeds from pumpkin sales enable the church to connect with the community by providing supplemental food for children in Stockbridge who otherwise may not have enough to eat over the weekends. SFUMC supplies both Smith-Barnes Elementary and Stockbridge Elementary with nutritious food to send home with children each Friday. Prices will vary according to size of the pumpkins, but every pumpkin purchased supports this much-needed ministry.
Bring the whole family and take a Fall photo amid the pumpkins or at one of their photo opportunity spots. They also offer local honey for sale and games of corn hole for guests to enjoy during their visit to the Patch.
