Mount Carmel Baptist Church invites the community to their Church Homecoming on Sunday August 6 at their 10 a.m. morning services. Summer Revivals will be held on Monday, August 7 with guest speaker Pastor Gregory Tyler and Macedonia Baptist Church in Griffin. On Tuesday, August 8 they welcome guest speaker Bishop Michael Strickland and Victory Tabernacle International in McDonough and on Wednesday August 9 their guest will be Pastor James Marable and Bethel Baptist Church of Barnesville. Community Bible Church Singles Ministry is launching a new monthly worship event called Singular Focus. Attendees will meet in the church Atrium with a coffee shop style setup and enjoy acoustic worship and a brief message in a relaxed, conversational atmosphere. All unmarried adults (whether currently single, dating, divorced, never married, etc.) are invited to join them on Friday, August 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Atrium. The Ole Country Church invites the community to a special Thursday Night Singing on July 20 at 7 p.m. featuring the Jim Brady Trio. Henry Baptist Church will offer Grief Share beginning July 30 from 3-5 p.m. and will continue each Sunday afternoon. New Big Springs Baptist Church invites the community to their annual Home Coming on Sunday August 20 at 3 p.m. and their Revival series which will be held August 21-25 at 7:30 p.m. each night. Heritage Baptist Church invites the community to worship on Sunday morning, Sunday evening and Wednesday nights. They have Awana each Thursday night from 6:30-8:30 p.m. during the school year for kindergarten-6th grade and SWAT for 7th-12th grade. Wesley Chapel UMC invites the community to worship at their new summer worship times on Sunday at 9:45 a.m. The new hours will continue until Sunday, July 30. Sunday School and Youth Groups meet each Sunday at 8:30 a.m. The church will have a Day of Student Recog-nition where The Higher Education Team has planned a college send off event for secondary and prospective college students on Sunday, July 16 at the 9:45 a.m. service.

Mount Zion UMC will host a Fifth Sunday Sing-A-Long on Sunday July 30 at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary. Guests from other churches in the community will participate, and congregational singing will be led by Choir Director Mike Wallace, with Alice Wallace as pianist.
