Stockbridge Presbyterian Church will be hosting a Live Nativity on Saturday, December 10 from 6-7:30 p.m. The community is invited to join us for this celebration. Come enjoy the fellowship and refreshments. The church is located at 4740 N. Henry Blvd. in Stockbridge.

Henry Baptist Church will host their Divorce Care - ‘Surviving the Holidays’ seminar on Monday, November 20 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. This seminar features practical suggestions and reassurance for people experiencing the holidays after divorce. Wesley Chapel UMC’s Care and Visitation Ministry will sponsor a Turkey Give-a-Way on Saturday, November 18 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the church’s fellowship hall. First come, first served. The Ole Country Church invites the community to a Third Sunday night singing on Sunday November 19 at 6 p.m. featuring the Perrys. No cover charge, however a love offering will be taken. First Baptist Church of McDonough invites the community to worship with them on Sunday mornings at 9:30 and 11 a.m. at their Downtown Campus (101 Macon Street) and at 10:30 a.m. at their West Campus (2176 Jonesboro Road). Kids age 4 through 6th grade are invited to Awana each Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at their West Campus. Faith Presbyterian Church (EPC) invites the community to worship each week. Sunday School for all ages is at 9:30 a.m. Worship service is at 11 a.m. Nursery and Children’s Church are available. The church is located at 5960 East Lake Road in the Kroger Shopping Center in McDonough.

St. James Catholic Church will host their 24th Annual Hollydaze Craft Fair on Saturday, November 18 from 9 a.m.-2:30. The event features handmade one-of-a kind art and creations. There will be 48 tables inside and 7 vendors outside with an array of potential Christmas gifts. The bake sale table will have a great selection of wonderful eats. Breakfast and lunch fare will be available for purchase. Admission is 50 cents and gives participants the chance to win door prizes donated by the vendors.

Life in the Spirit Full Gospel Church invites the community to worship with them on Sunday mornings at 11 a.m. Next Generation services for ages 6-14 also begin at 11 a.m. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. Sunday night service begins with prayer at 5:30 p.m. with Sunday night campmeeting beginning at 6 p.m. Midweek service is held Wednesday at 7 p.m. Classes for children and youth also meet at this same time on Wednesday. Community Bible Church invites the community to hear special guest, Inky Johnson, former University of Tennessee football player and motivational speaker on December 3 at 6 p.m. The event is free but a love offering will be taken. After suffering a serious, career-ending injury on the field, Inky now inspires and motivates his audiences to embrace the challenges of life. Turner United Methodist Church will be giving away holiday turkeys to the first 50 people to arrive on Saturday, November 18 from 1-2 p.m. The church is located at 2957 Turner Church Road in McDonough.

Bethel UMC will host it’s annual Barbecue on Saturday, November 18 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Plates include BBQ, bread, cole slaw and beans. Homemade desserts will be sold by their ladies ministry to support mission projects.
