Locust Grove United Methodist Church will have a free clothing giveaway on Saturday, July 15 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Everyone is welcome. For more information, call 770-957-9605. The church is located at 211 Peeksville Road in Locust Grove.

Mount Zion UMC will host a Fifth Sunday Sing-A-Long on Sunday July 30 at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary. Guests from other churches in the community will participate, and congregational singing will be led by Choir Director Mike Wallace, with Alice Wallace as pianist. Refreshments will be served afterwards in Harper Hall. The community is invited to attend the service at 984 Panola Road in Ellenwood.

Henry Baptist Church will offer Grief Share beginning July 30 from 3-5 p.m. and will continue each Sunday afternoon. New Big Springs Baptist Church invites the community to their 11th Pastoral Anniversary on Sunday, July 23 at 3 p.m. The guest speaker is Pastor Milton S. Goggins of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Griffin. Dinner will be served at 2 p.m. The theme is “Rooted in the Past ... Wesley Chapel UMC invites the community to worship at their new summer worship times on Sunday at 9:45 a.m. The new hours will continue until Sunday, July 30. Sunday School and Youth Groups meet each Sunday at 8:30 a.m. The church will have a Day of Student Recognition where The Higher Education Team has planned a college send off event for secondary and prospective college students on Sunday, July 16 at the 9:45 a.m. service.

Mount Bethel United Methodist Church invites the community to visit their Clothes Closet on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m.-noon. They have sizes to fit most and there is no cost whatsoever. Worship services are held each Sunday at 11 a.m. The church is located at 992 Mt. Bethel Road in McDonough.

St. James the Apostle Catholic Church invites the community to worship with them each week.
