Annette Bray Chambers
Mrs. Annette Bray Chambers, age 80, of McDonough, Ga., passed away June 20, 2017. Annette was born in Atlanta, Ga., the daughter of the late Rebecca Pounds Bray and Charles Bray. Annette enjoyed spending time with family and friends, spoiling her grandchildren, flowers, gardening, and traveling. She was a member of The Rock Baptist Church in Rex, Ga. She was preceded in death by brothers, Bobby, Jack, Charles and Larry Bray.
Survivors are her husband of 62 years, Charles B. Chambers of McDonough; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles G. Chambers (Susie) of Stockbridge and Keith A. Chambers (Carol) of Senoia; grandchildren, Justin Chambers (Amie), Houston, Tex., Ryan Chambers (Madelyn) of Lexington, K.Y., Kimberly Glass (Nathan) of Senoia, Audrey Chambers of Senoia; and three great grandchildren; brother, Joe Bray (Ruth) of Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Annette was held on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. The family received friends one hour prior to the service. Jim Lewis officiated. Haisten Funeral Home of McDonough is in charge of arrangements, 770-914-8833, haistenfunerals.com.

Augusta Nelle Baggett
Mrs. Augusta Nelle Baggett, age 85, of Thomaston, Ga., formerly of Locust Grove, GA passed away June 23, 2017. “Miss Nelle” was born in Lily, Georgia the daughter of the late Sally Maude Swearingen and Starling Yawn. “Miss Nelle” was a member of the Locust Grove United Methodist Church and The Saints Alive Sunday School Class. She worked in the school cafeteria, drove a school bus for the Henry County School System and later became a bus monitor and was known to her coworkers as Gussie. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, fishing, attending church activities, visiting family and friends, and working hard beside her husband on the farm during his life time. She was preceded in death by 8 siblings, her husband, Roy Lee Baggett and a son, Lee Baggett, Jr.
Survivors are her children, Betty Nelle Hicks (David) of Locust Grove, Jane Nolf (Paul) of Jackson, Pauline Shepard (Ed) of Molena, Leila Madison of Thomaston, Luanne Smith of Grayson, Frank Baggett (Janice) of Buckhead, and Beth Washington of Kennesaw; 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
The family received friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Locust Grove United Methodist Church. Wiladine Long, age 82, of McDonough, Ga., died June 26, 2017. She was born in South Pittsburg, Tenn., to the late Horace and Frances Mayfield Wileman.
Mrs. Long is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Morris Long; children, Deniese Tucker, Renee Smith, Melinda Anthony, Marla Lam, Eddie Long; grandchildren, Brittany Gossett, Frances Smith, and many other grandchildren.
