4-H Geranium Sale going on now

The Annual Henry County 4-H Geranium Fundraiser is going on now. Proceeds from the sale help support the Henry County 4-H program. The 4-H program gives students many hands-on learning experiences focused on leadership, citizenship, communication skills, foods and nutrition, health, energy conservation, agricultural and environmental issues. Henry County 4-H assists youth in acquiring knowledge, developing life skills, and forming attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive and contributing members of society.

There are many colors of Geraniums to choose from. The 8 inch pots are $8 each and are available Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Henry County Extension Office Shade House located at 97 Lake Dow Road in McDonough.

A special sale will be held on Saturday, May 6 from 8 a.m.- noon at the Extension/4-H Shade House.

The Extension Office accepts Discover, Visa, MasterCard, checks and cash.
