Where In The World Is The Times

The Times traveled recently with Amanda Blackburn, and her husband, Stew Ussery. “We rang in the new year backpacking in Providence Canyon in Lumpkin, Georgia, just the two of us, with no other human beings in sight. Providence Canyon is sometimes called Georgia’s “Little Grand Canyon” and is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Georgia, although the site is not purely natural. The nine canyons were caused by erosion due to poor farming practices in the 19th century,” said Amanda.
