Heritage Senior Carolers Easter Program
The community is cordially invited to attend the Heritage Senior Carolers Second Easter Program “A Tribute to Jesus” on Thursday, April 13 at 10:30 a.m. The event is free of charge and will be held at the Heritage Senior Center, 1050 Florence McGarity Blvd. in McDonough.

Fill the Purse event taking donations
In honor of Financial Literacy Month the Allstate Foundation Purple Purse presents the Davis Agency’s Fill the Purse Event going on now through April 29.
They are seeking donations of the following items: tampons, menstrual pads, washcloths, body wash and soap, shampoo, deodorant, combs and brushes, toothpaste and toothbrushes, lotion, lip balm, lipstick, make-up, compact mirrors, travel size kleenex, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, mini-planners, and all other hygiene products. Donations will be distributed to victims of domestic violence. Donations must be dropped off at 2152 Highway 20 West in McDon-ough. Hours of operations are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

ReStore Seeking Volunteers
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore McDonough is seeking volunteers to give 4 hours a week to help make a difference in the community. The ReStore sells donated, new and gently used furniture, household décor, appliances, and building supplies to the general public, to raise funds to support Southern Crescent Habitat for Humanity as they provide affordable housing for families in the community who need it. Volunteers in the ReStore assist shoppers, accept donations, unload donation trucks, and prepare and set up merchandise. The ReStore is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and is located at 1465 Hwy. 20 West in McDonough.
