Wesley Way UMC invites the community to attend Palm Sunday service on Sunday April 9 at the combined service at 10 a.m. where the Chancel Choir will perform the cantata “Come to the Cross and Remember.” Christ’s journey to the cross is filled with images of His sacrificial love for us: the Cup and the Bread, the Nails, The Crown of Thorns, and more. During the performance, each of the images is brought forward to create a very moving tableau. After the service their annual Eggstrava- ganza Easter Egg Hunt will be held for the children and the men’s group will be serving free hotdogs. Kelley Presbyterian Church invites the community to a church yard sale on Saturday, May 6 at 8 a.m. Everyone welcome. The church is located at 3637 Airline Road in McDon-ough.

Heritage Baptist Church invites the community to its Resurrected Easter Celebration on Sunday, April 16 at 10 and 11 a.m. Childcare is available for the service. Community Bible Church invites the community to their Good Friday Service with communion on Friday, April 14 at 7 p.m. An Eggstravaganza will be held on Saturday, April 15 at 4:45 p.m. featuring egg hunts for ages 4 and under in the Early Education Building. At 5 p.m. that day they will have a Service on Soccer Field, then egg hunts for ages k5-5th grade will be held at 5:15 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will arrive via helicopter at 5:30 p.m. On Easter Sunday, services will be held beginning at 8 a.m. with a Sunrise Service with communion and then regular services at 9:30 and 11 a.m. For more information visit https://community bible.church. First Baptist Church in McDonough invites the community to its Senior Adult Revival going on Monday -Wednesday, from April 10-12 at 11 a.m.-noon each day. Dr. Bob Marsh will be bringing the message. The Ole Country Church invites the community to it’s Special Easter Sunday Service beginning with a Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. outside under the portico. At 8 a.m. breakfast will be served in the Fellowship Hall. Bethel UMC invites the community to a Yard Sale and Fish Fry on Saturday, April 8. The Yard Sale will be held from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. and the Fish Fry will be held from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. The cost is $8 per plate and benefits their Mission Team’s efforts locally, nationally, and in Honduras. On Sunday, April 9 at 11 a.m., the Chancel Choir will present “No Stone Can Hold Him” as the annual Easter Cantata.
